Cappelen Damm AS is a cultural and educational enterprise that focuses on the distribution of literature through bookshops, book clubs and publishing. Cappelen Damm’s publishing house produces a wide range of trade books in both traditional and electronic media.

The publishing house publishes more than 1000 new titles every year – they include Norwegian and translated high-quality fiction, non-fiction and educational books for adults, young adults and children. The publisher also produces a substantial number of magazines, maps and games. 

Cappelen Damm is owned equally by the Bonnier and Egmont media groups.
